That’s not just a catchy way of saying that St. Johns County has got an outstanding business community. It’s the truth! No matter what your speciality is — manufacturing, hospitality, retail, marketing and advertising, multi-media…and more — our community is overflowing with economic potential. According to Isabelle Rodriguez, the President of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce: “A healthy and thriving business environment is a foundational reason for our enviable quality of life. It is a very exciting time to be in business in St. Augustine and St. Johns County. We continue to grow and with it grow the opportunities for businesses to find success.”
Everyone knows our business community has suffered a couple of serious setbacks in the past 365 days which could have jeopardized that growth. Fortunately, the businesspeople throughout St. Johns County sprang into action, and their co-operation with local civic organizations significantly impacted the recoveries from both Hurricanes Matthews and Irma. Their involvement helped the entire area get back on its feet quicker than expected. Rodriguez believes: “In the wake of Matthew and Irma it is clear that the more businesses thrive, the more our community can as well. The Chamber is extremely grateful to the way this community has come together in the wake of those storms our business community is strong and our progress continues.”
