With an impressive legal resume spanning more than three decades, it’s still the people that get Robert L. “Mac” McLeod up in the morning. “We come to work every day and do what we’ve promised our clients,” McLeod says of his team at The McLeod Firm. “We are hands-on with our clients from day one.”
A Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer specializing in medical and hospital malpractice and personal injury, McLeod graduated from Mercer University in Georgia with a degree in Biology and Pre-Medicine before earning his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law.
A Floridanative born in Orlando and raised in Ormond Beach, McLeod spent six years working for the State Attorney and earned a reputation as a tough prosecutor and dynamic courtroom lawyer.
Today, McLeod is head of The McLeod Firm, which he established in 1994. “Our firm concentrates in two areas of law: personal injury and medical malpractice,” he explains. “We are the only firm in the area that specializes in medical malpractice. We have a full-time medical researcher and investigator who work on these cases.”
The McLeod Firm tries everything from automobile accidents to defective medical products and nursing home abuse.
“From the first day our client walks into the office to their final day in court receiving compensation, our lawyers work with them one-on-one,” says McLeod. “This is an element of our firm that we are especially prideful of.”
