There are big things happening just south of St. Augustine. Two of the most popular eateries in the Hammock area are joining forces. Frank DeMaio of local’s favorite “386 Restaurant” and Carolyn Mathis of “Hammock Wine & Cheese Garden” enthusiastically announce that they are coming together to offer you the most “unique”gathering spot east of the Intracoastal Waterway. With 50 years combined knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry, this combination is sure to offer up unique dishes and experiences found nowhere else. This is truly a blockbuster combination and their shared vision is to create a destination for family, friends and couples to relax, enjoy wine, sushi, tapas, gourmet coffees and desserts, in an upscale, yet rustic, “Old Florida” setting surrounded by live oaks, and the native flora and fauna that makes the Hammock the special locale it is.

Join them throughout the months of September and October for complimentary day and evening wine tastings, live entertainment, daily specials and while you’re there, enjoy browsing unique retail offerings, local art, and craftworks. And be sure and experience the new Uncaged Boutique featuring Steve Souza. If that weren’t enough, Carolyn will continue to offer her popular retail seafood market, with fish, shrimp and oysters, fresh from local waters at unbeatable prices.

Sundays are for sushi and sake samplings, from 4-8pm, and check them out on Facebook and online for more daily promotions, special events and live entertainment.
