OLD TOWN ART SHOW

March 24-25: The Old Town Art Show will feature more than 100 artists and craftsmen from Northeast Florida and from throughout the country. BLESSING OF THE FLEET 

March 25: This is an annual event dating back to St. Augustine’s earliest history, where watercraft of all types, decorated with flags and bunting, receive a special blessing from the Bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine. The ceremony begins at noon with a procession from the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine along the Plaza de la Constitución to the St. Augustine Municipal Marina. The Bridge of Lions closes for the Blessing of the Fleet. GREAT CHEFS AT TPC SAWGRASS

March 29: This Northeast Florida culinary competition returns to the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach with the area’s best chefs. Diners are served four courses and vote for their one favorite. Guests will also be able to vote for the best cocktail and food truck. LOVE YOUR MOTHER ECO FASHION SHOW 

March 31: Coming to Ponte Vedra Beach for the first time, this fashion show at Marsh Landing Country Club features innovation, imaginative outfits made from eco-friendly and recycled materials. ST. AUGUSTINE EASTER PARADE

April 1: The St. Augustine Easter Parade begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 1 at the Mission of Nombre de Dios on San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine and heads south down Avenida Menendez.  The annual parade featuring horse-drawn carriages, marching bands, floats, drill teams, the Easter Bunny, and St. Augustine’s Royal Family. ST. AUGUSTINE RACE WEEK

April 5-8St. Augustine Race Week features multiple sailing events, boat races and youth sailing regattas along the St. Augustine bayfront and near the Vilano bridge. Cruisers, Racers, Big Boats, and Small Boats are invited to participate. Rhythm and Ribs Festival 2018

RHYTHM & RIBS FESTIVAL

April 6-8: The Rhythm & Ribs Festival features barbecue vendors from across the south, a BBQ competition, live music, a kids zone and Kiss the Pig, a fundraiser for Learn to Read. The festival is held at Francis Field, 29 W. Castillo Drive, downtown St. Augustine. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 6; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 7; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 8. Hosted by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary, all proceeds go to more than 2 dozen local charities and nonprofits. With the help of nearly 200 volunteers, a total of 2,000 hours are volunteered over the weekend. FLORIDA’S BIRDING & PHOTO FEST

April 18-22Florida’s Birding and Photo Fest features more than 100 birding and outdoor photography events in St. Johns County and surrounding locations. A TASTE OF ST. AUGUSTINE

April 29A Taste of St. Augustine will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340 A1A South, St. Augustine. This signature food festival serves up tastes from St. Augustine’s well-known restaurants. Restaurants will compete for the prestigious TOStA (Taste of St. Augustine) awards, with categories including Best Family Dining, Best Ethnic, Best Upscale and Best Dessert, as well as the ever-popular People’s Choice. Everyone gets to vote. There will be a children’s area with fun activities including crafts and face-painting as well as live music throughout the day. Admission is $5, and taste tickets are $1 each with restaurants charging between 1-5 tickets per taste. The annual Race to the Taste 5K is part of the event. ROMANZA FESTIVALE OF THE ARTS

May 4-13: The Romanza Festivale of the Arts is a celebration of art and music in America’s Most Romantic City, featuring more than 60 events and exhibits by dozens of organizations. Daily events include music and dance performances, concerts, art shows, dramatic productions and much more at locations throughout the city. Many events are FREE and admission is required for the others.
