Sunnin’ and Sippin’

Nestled on the Atlantic Ocean, Serenata Beach Club in Ponte Vedra Beach is an ideal locale to enjoy poolside sippers. It’s summertime, after all, and your cocktails should reflect Florida’s steamy, sunny days: super fruity, sometimes frozen and always fun. We asked Serenata Beach Club’s Bar Manager, Angie Raccioppi, to whip up a few refreshing poolside sippers using local spirits and a tropical twist. We think you’ll like what she came up with.

Summertime Mojito

  • 1.25 oz. St. Augustine Distillery Pot Distilled Rum
  • 1.25 oz. fresh watermelon, diced
  • 1.25 oz. fresh pineapple, diced
  • 6 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 2 lime wedges

Muddle the watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint in the bottom of a large glass. Add the rum and simple syrup. Shake together over ice. Top with soda water.

Frozen Mango Colada

  • 1.25 oz. St. Augustine Distillery Pot Distilled Rum
  • 1.25 oz. Crème De’ Coconut
  • 1.25 oz. mango puree
  • 1 oz. dark rum

Blend the rum, Crème De’ Coconut and mango puree together in a blender with 4 oz. of crushed ice. Top with dark rum. Garnish with whipped cream, toasted coconut and diced mango.

Peach Mule

  • 1. 25 oz. Manifest Distilling Vodka
  • 4 lime wedges
  • 1 oz. peach puree
  • Fresh peach slices

Muddle the limes in the bottom of a glass. Add the vodka and peach puree. Shake over ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with fresh peaches and candied lime.
